Callie is the Chef Proprietor of Meyer & Sage, new mama to Crew and wellness advocate #ingredientsdomatter. Art is her first love, she believes avocado belongs on everything and she makes some mean breakfast tacos.

What does wellness mean to you? 

Wellness is feeling proud of myself, thankful and grateful. It’s an inner calm.

Name three non-negotiables in your life.

  • Bulletproof coffee first thing in the morning

  • A tidy home

  • Lunch out alone at least once a week

Morning routine?

First thing in the morning, I throw on my cozy socks and loungewear and nurse our 6-month-old baby, Crew. My husband makes my bulletproof coffee every morning then watches the baby while I shower. After I take my supplements, drink a large bottle of water with electrolytes and have a quick bar, (Bearded Brothers is my new favorite after a rec from @taylordukeswellness), I’m out the door to take the baby on a morning walk around the neighborhood.

Evening routine?

I’m still having some issues getting quality sleep being 6 months postpartum, so sleep is my ultimate priority after baby goes down for bed at 7pm. I heat up a @meyerandsage dinner with my husband, take a shower, do my nighttime skin regimen from @christinajettskin, journal in bed, then I’m hopefully asleep by 9pm.

Travel essentials?

BeautyCounter Mineral Sunscreen Mist, my refillable United by Blue water bottle, Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40, my laptop charger.

Instant energy boost?

Katz Coffee Texas Pecan Cold Brew with a splash of Picnik Austin collagen plant-based creamer or a walk around the neighborhood.

Most used condiment?

Scratch-made roasted garlic aioli from Meyer & Sage or the Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette from Tessa Mae’s.

Favorite smoothie recipe?

Snickerdoodle Tahini Date Smoothie from Ambitious Kitchen - love the hidden cauliflower!

How do you take your coffee (or tea)?

Bulletproof Coffee blended with Coconut MCT Oil, Vital Proteins Collagen, a couple dates, dash of cinnamon. I like hot tea with honey and extra lemon.

Go-to cocktail?

A glass of champagne is my go-to. Special occasions? A dirty vodka martini or a bourbon old fashioned.

How do you reset?

Quality time with my little family :) A long bath with a CBD bath bomb also does the trick.

When you feel sickness coming on you...

Drink plenty of water, make sure I’ve getting plenty of rest, diffuse essential oils, double up on my Cassie Green Health and Harvest Farmacy Elderberry.
