COLD PLUNGE faq

  • To see benefits of a cold plunge, we recommend a minimum 2-4 times a week.

  • Brain benefits have been shown to be reaped in as quickly as 40 seconds! You can work your way up to 10 minute sessions with a few one minute dunks under the water throughout

    • Improves brain health by increasing catecholamines, hormones released by your adrenal glands in response to physical or emotional stress. The release of these hormones has shown to improve focus, attention, and mood.

    • Exposure to cold increases metabolic rate and your body's ability to process glucose, both of which can aid in weight loss

    • With consistent cold exposure, our vascular system increases the quantity of immune cells. With more immune cells, our body's overall immune system is enhanced, while also decreasing inflammation.

  • 47° to 49° F

  • Bathing suits are recommended attire.

  • To open detox pathways, for the body to sustain the cold plunge longer, and to yield maximum benefit, the infrared sauna should be completed first. Next, please use your private shower to quickly rinse of toxins before hopping in the cold plunge.
